For several years now, the Perchoir Ménilmontant has been delighting our eyes with its breathtaking view over the rooftops of the capital.
From May 4 to December 31, 2019, the Perchoir Ménilmontant will also be delighting our taste buds with the opening of an ephemeral gourmet concept. Called Tontine, this canteen-style family restaurant has been designed by Phamily First. Behind the agency is Julien Pham, also in charge of the Food Court at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées.
For Tontine, he has teamed up with his sister Céline Pham, who has also worked for cheZaline, Saturne and Septime. Céline Pham will soon be welcoming a number of talented chefs, both established and emerging, from here and abroad, who will be concocting tasty dishes for the occasion.
In the meantime, Céline Pham is spending three months behind the stove to offer gourmets her famous " bánh mì en croûte ", a Phamily creation created in collaboration with the famous Parisian charcutier La Maison Vérot.
For the rest, you'll also find The Social Food's " Poire de Feu " hot sauce. To accompany it all, make way for " Le Fût First " beer by Deck & Donohue and " Châton Grosbijou " wine by Auvergne winemaker Patrick Bouju.
For a taste of Tontine's culinary delights, head to the 6th floor of 14 rue Crespin du Gast in Paris's 11th arrondissement, from May 4 to December 31, 2019.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Drink in moderation.
