Looking for a Japanese restaurant with a difference? Let's go and discover Kibo No Ki, the ramen and poke bowl restaurant in Paris's 9th arrondissement, a stone's throw from Place de la Madeleine.
At Kibo No Ki, the owners wanted a restaurant where you didn't just come to eat, but also to have fun. So they came up with the idea of offering the opportunity to try on a variety of kimonos and have your photo taken in the restaurant's various settings. So, at the end of your meal, you can try on a kimono with the various accessories provided, and off you go for the shoot.
The Kibo No Ki restaurant offers a variety of dining areas. Outside, a lovely terrace awaits you in fine weather. You can also choose to eat in front of the counter with the cherry blossom tree, on the second floor with a bird's-eye view, or in the basement with its various Japanese decorations.

Next, the menu. At Kibo No Ki, ramen and poke bowls are the stars. To ensure his ramen is top-notch, the chef trained at the RAJUKU ramen school with renowned teacher Koitani Takeishi. Here, everything is homemade, from the broths to the fresh noodles, all made with original flour to perfect the tasting experience.
The Kibo No Ki Menu:
Note that the place offers special broths adapted to halal eaters. In addition to the vegetarian version, Paitan Shio Ramen and Paitan Shoyo are made with halal chicken. A non-alcoholic chicken karaage version is also available.
Looking for freshness? Kibo No Ki offers a wide range of revisited poke bowls. Of course, gyozas, takoyakis and other classic appetizers are also available. Various lunchtime menus are available.
The restaurant, more of a canteen at lunchtime, transforms into a sit-down restaurant in the evening. We love the freshness of the products, the noodles and broth are perfect and the poke bowls ultra gourmet. There's plenty to enjoy. Are you a picky eater? Note that you can choose to compose your ramen or poke to your liking: base, proteins, vegetables, topping and sauces, it's up to you.
Try our original takoyaki with cheese.
Once you've enjoyed your meal, it's time to try them on. You can try on a kimono with the help of a hostess, but it's up to you to remove it once the shoot is over.
There are kimonos for both men and women, accompanied by various accessories. It's worth noting that this concept is very popular for birthday parties for young and old alike, to create a beautiful group photo in Japanese manga style.
Then it's on to the torii (Japanese arch), umbrellas, lanterns or cherry blossom trees - the choice is yours.
In short, if you want to eat well and have an original time, this is a restaurant that should guarantee you a good time.
