The Conciergerie is taking part in the new edition of Monument Jeu d'Enfant, this weekend of October 18 and 19, 2025. For the occasion, the Conciergerie is offering unusual and themed tours.

The All Saints' Day vacations 2025 are off to a great start , with an exceptional weekend to be enjoyed in France's monuments. Children and their parents are invited to Monuments Nationaux to take part in the latest edition of Monument Jeu d'Enfant, a fun way to learn more about our heritage.

At la Conciergerie, a weekend of entertainment and games awaits the youngest visitors, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October 2025. It's impossible to resist the call: the monument is steeped inhistory, as fascinating as it is beautiful. Built in the 10th century, the Conciergerie was part of the Palais de la Cité, the first residence of the kings of France until the end of the 14th century, before being transformed into a courthouse and then a prison for Queen Marie-Antoinette during the French Revolution.

The Conciergerie isn't the only one taking part in this event: the former prison is offering special activities for our little ones. Visits are proposed during this weekend of family activities, in an iconic monument of the capital.

On the program for this family weekend at the Conciergerie:

  • Les chimères: bestiaire fantastique
    October 18 and 19, 2pm to 5pm
To celebrate the reopening of the towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral, we invite you to the Conciergerie for a festive rendezvous focusing on the fantastic imaginary of the Middle Ages!
On the program: mediation and art workshops to create your own chimera, discover the bestiary of the Middle Ages, try your hand at Gothic architecture and many other surprises. Finally, a medieval ball led by artists from the Compagnie Bassa Toscana invites you to experience the dance and music of the Middle Ages!
    Reservations strongly recommended at www.paris-conciergerie.fr

Reservations are strongly advised, as visitor gauges are in place to ensure the best possible experience over the weekend, and the Conciergerie always attracts many curious visitors.

Don't miss these great events, open to all!
