To mark the 65th anniversary of Asterix, the characters imagined, drawn and portrayed in René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo 's many comic strips are coming to the Musée Grévin. Following in the footsteps of Petit Nicolas, Pat'Patrouille, Titeuf and other key characters from French comics, the irreducible Gauls will be arriving as a tribe at the Musée Grévin on October 23, 2024.
Created in 1959 by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, the albums recounting the adventures of the irreducible Gaulish duo formed by Asterix and Obelix have been translated into 117 languages, adapted for the cinema and captivated generations of young and old alike for over 65 years of adventures. A true worldwide phenomenon, the series came to a close in 2023 following the death of its creators, with the final album, L'Iris Blanc.
So, from October 23, 2024, the Musée Grévin will welcome Asterix, Obelix and their faithful four-legged companion, Dogmatix, in a setting inspired by the world of comic strips. Sculptor Stéphane Barret and K-Sculpture will be at work, and a Roman will also be part of the setting!
To discover the most famous Gauls during the All Saints' Day vacations - or after - expect to pay from €19.50 per adult and from €14.50 per child (aged 5 to 18). Admission is free for children under 5. So, shall we take a trip to the Musée Grévin in autumn 2024?
