Try to get away from the Paris pollution and find places surrounded by the wilderness and greenery to feel like in the countryside.
To run by the Seine Riverbanks, avoid hours during which passersby meet, that is to say circa 6 p.m. Or, great places have been laid-out for pedestrians and runners, perfect for a several-kilometer run without stopping as the route goes on and on. Enjoy a 10-km round trip run, between Bastille and the Eiffel Tower, via Concorde! Perfect to see the superb buildings of Paris from the banks.
These two huge green places lining the city on the West and East are perfect to workout in a green setting. They feature lots of flat and well-maintained paths to run without having to care about cobblestones or sidewalks, between the trees and water bodies.
This incredible vestige of old railways surrounding the city is THE spot to go to if you want to run in peace! Far less packed than the other places in the city, portions are open to the public and often empty or almost and allow you to have a great time outside. In the middle of nature, with the birds chirping instead of cars, enjoy a one-kilometer race. And you can even run several portions! But make sure you stay on track to avoid places where you have to walk on the rails to prevent from spraining your ankle!

Although the environment is gorgeous and there are not a lot of cars, ups and downs keep on and on and will require more skills.
