Beneath the first layer of snow (more like white chocolate), a sweet pastry base is revealed, followed by a soft chestnut cookie and a smooth chestnut cream. A tangy blackcurrant confit, lightly spiced with Timut pepper, provides the frosty touch that awakens the taste buds. To top it all off, a puffed meringue nestles in a chestnut mousse as airy as a cloud.

The limited-edition "Flocon" log, available by reservation only, will sparkle on tables of 6 to 8 people. Individual logs will also be available at Lutetia throughout December. And for gourmets who want to get their teeth into it, there's a whole assortment of "frosted" treats: flake tablets and little chocolate fir trees, flake gingerbread, little travel cakes (choco or vanilla), and sachets of chocolate flakes with fleur de sel.
