Christmas at the Chapelle Royale 2024: concerts at the Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles

As it does every year, the Château de Versailles is celebrating the festive season of 2024 in style, with a comprehensive program that appeals to young and old alike, lovers of history and discovery. In addition to a Christmas show, the Château will be staging five concerts, including an opera, in its Chapelle Royale, showcasing the sacred repertoire in never-before-seen performances, to be discovered just a few days before Christmas.

With its 18th-century religious architecture, a veritable architectural gem, and its exceptional acoustics, the Chapelle Royale de Versailles is the perfect venue to host these great concerts and transport you into a fairytale world, from December 7 to 23, 2024. Concerts include Handel's much-anticipated Messiah, conducted by Gaétan Jarry.
