For Christmas 2023,Hôtel Fouquet's unveils a magical , regressive Yule log that's sure to please young and old alike. This creation is undoubtedly one of this year's most beautiful and original.
Located at 99 avenue des Champs-Elysées, the historic establishment is celebrating Christmas with a unique pastry creation. Conceived by pastry chefs Anthony Coquereau of Fouquet's Paris and Hugo Sipp of Fouquet's Dubai (which has just opened), this log is impressive.
Indeed, for 2023, the Yule log takes on the allure of the hotel's emblematic façade, a white chocolate reproduction distinguished by its sophisticated design and generosity. Note that in this creation, everything can be eaten! Each floor of this chocolate structure reveals gourmet surprises, offering a rich and varied taste experience.
The upper part of the log reveals a selection of traditional Alsatian Christmas cakes, paying homage to Chef Hugo Sipp's origins. These delicacies are followed by lower tiers featuring a hazelnut and lemon-flavored entremets. The entremets, a harmonious blend of hazelnut cookie, feuillantine praline, lemon mousse and hazelnut cream, is enveloped in crunchy chocolate. We love the freshness of the lemon, lightening the generosity of the praline and hazelnut.
Chefs Anthony Coquereau and Hugo Sipp have taken particular care in the presentation of this log, which is assembled in the dining room for the pleasure of both eyes and taste buds. It can only be enjoyed at Fouquet's Paris and Fouquet's Dubai. It must be ordered in advance, for all your meals at the two hotels during the month of December.
