The Journées du Patrimoine is one of those not-to-be-missed events in September in Paris and the surrounding region. Celebrating its 41st edition this year, this cultural event invites us to discover the treasures of our heritage in a new light, through visits that are often free of charge, as well as original activities and workshops in museums, monuments, châteaux and other cultural venues. For the occasion, places usually closed to the public even open their doors exceptionally to reveal their secrets. As you can see, the Journées du Patrimoine is the cultural event to take advantage of!
It's also a great opportunity to explore the region's heritage! Yes, the rest of the Île-de-France region around Paris is full of amazing treasures. This time, we're heading for Savigny-le-Temple in the Seine-et-Marne region, where you'll find the Grange-la-Prévoté estate, built on an ancient medieval stronghold and designated as a heritage site of regional interest. The 13-hectare estate is home to the Château de la Grange. On the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024, a special program awaits you on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days).
The International Choral Festival is back.
On Saturday, September 21, the choirs will perform from 2pm to 6pm, then from 8pm to 11pm, with a candlelit evening at the château, with extras in period costume.
The International Choir Festival is back.
On Sunday, the choirs will perform a final show from 2 to 6 p.m., closing with a joint song sung by all the choirs at the same time.
