Exhibitions, tours, lectures, readings, festivals and shows for everyone - from the very young to the very old - are all on offer to help you spend the next few months in our company.
For this opening evening, we invite you to discover the new exhibition Histoire(s) de château(x), in which the lives of castles, real or imaginary, are seen through the prism of art.

  • Parc Culturel de Rentilly-Michel Chartier opens its season
    Friday, September 20, 8:30 p.m.

There's only one step from castle to fairytale. As part of the exhibition vernissage and season opening, we invite you to take that step and enjoy Scopitone & cie's quirky, delightful versions of Cinderella and Le Petit Poucet, at l'espace des arts vivants.

  • Les Temps d'Art: visual arts workshop space
    September 21 and 22

Nestled on the second floor of the château, art time is waiting for you.
Somewhere between a creative workshop and an experimental laboratory, this art space showcases the visual arts through the work of an artist. This eleventh installment is devoted to the work of artist Laure Tixier, and in particular to the discovery of her Plaid Houses, architectures in colored felt.
After stopping to admire all the house shapes imagined by the artist, you can take your turn in building your own castle. Over the weeks, all these castles will be added to a slide show. Builders and budding artists, come and have fun and marvel at the art time space.

  • Histoire(s) de château(x)" exhibition: the children's vernissage
    Sunday, September 22, 11:00 a.m.

This Sunday, children - and only children - are the guests of honor at the Château de Rentilly. They are expected to attend the children's vernissage to enjoy the exhibition Histoire(s) de château(x), in the company of the mediation team. Together, they'll explore the museum and discover the works on display. The event ends with a fruit juice, in the company of parents.
Parents, while your children are attending the opening, you are welcome to join a tour of the Domaine de Rentilly, highlighting its built heritage (booking required).

  • Tour of the Domaine de Rentilly and its built heritage
    Sunday, September 22, 11:00 a.m.

With its rich and varied architectural heritage, the Domaine de Rentilly offers visitors the chance to discover buildings from a wide variety of periods and styles. After a brief introduction to general architectural concepts, take a tour of the grounds to discover the diversity of the estate's architectural aesthetics and associate them with the families and personalities behind them. Meet in front of the château.

  • Landscape visit-workshop at the Domaine de Rentilly
    Sunday, September 22, 2:30 p.m.

This afternoon's workshop visit focuses on the landscape.
After a presentation of the estate, and in particular its landscaped areas, this afternoon's visit is devoted to the English park.
In the company of your guide for the day, you'll learn to look at the landscape, to read it in detail, before completing this detailed observation with a workshop. There, you'll reconstruct the landscape you've observed and sketched.
