Heritage Days 2024: exceptional opening of the Hôtel Pereire - Del Duca Foundation

From the Pereire brothers to the Del Ducas: A journey through time

• Emile and Isaac Pereire : These visionaries shaped the French economy in the 19th century. Heads of emblematic companies such as Compagnie du Chemin de Fer de Paris à Saint-Germain and Crédit Mobilier, they also made a name for themselves in real estate, creating Parc Monceau.
  
• Hôtel Emile Pereire : Built between 1879 and 1881, this residence with its elegant facades is an ode to classical architecture. Its architecture, designed by William Bouwens van der Boijen, is a true architectural treasure.
  
• Diverse occupants : From the post-Libération Direction de la Sidérurgie to Charbonnages de France, this hotel has seen many occupants before becoming the headquarters of the Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca.
