As France is exiting containment, slowly but surely, the health situation seems to improve. A few days before phase two of the containment exit scheme ends, said to span from June 2 to 22, 2020, Emmanuel Macron has planned to address to the country on Sunday June 14, 2020. A solemn address in which, the French President is expected to speak about topics related to the managing of the crisis and the preparation of phase 3 of the containment exit, that is said to make some measures softer.
Among measures expected for the new phase towards slow “back to normal”, one of the main points is about the full reopening of restaurants in orange area. Indeed, if since June 2 cafés, bars, and restaurants have been able to open their terraces, the rather bad weather these past few weeks gives small restaurants some trouble. In Paris, Anne Hidalgo tries to help restaurateurs by making processes to open their terraces in the public space easier. Paris mayor has also said she wants the capital to “go green”.
Another softened measure expected: National Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer wishes to make the health protocol in schools softer, especially when it comes to the maximum number of children in the same classroom at the same time, so that schools can welcome more pupils.
As for measures already known, we know theme parks have been given the green light to reopen from June 22 in orange area, so can movie theaters, swimming pools, gyms, as well as stadiums and hippodromes, that can reopen on that day all across the country.
