From price rises to new subsidies and restrictions, these changes can sometimes be hard to keep up with, which is why we bring you a monthly update on what's changing in Paris and across France. That's right, the winter season also brings changes. As we go along, we'll tell you what's expected to change, and what measures will come into force this month, whether on the economic , social, traffic, transport, energy or ecological fronts. Here's what's changing in February 2025:

Electricity:
On the one hand: an increase in the excise duty on electricity, putting an end to the tariff loop put in place by the energy crisis.
On the other hand, for consumers, a 9% cut in the regulated tariff is scheduled for February 1, 2025.

Savings:
The Livret A rate, set at 3% since 2023, is set to be lowered at the next rate review. It is expected to fall to 2.5% at the next rate review on February 1, 2025, due to falling inflation.
