La Nuit Blanche is the unmissable artistic and festive event of the year in Paris! Find out all you need to know about this year's event, which takes place on June 1, 2024.

Barely over, and we're already missing it... On June 3, 2023, the Nuit Blanche celebrated its 21st edition... And above all, its very first spring edition! Gone were the rain and cold of October, which so often spoiled the performances of contemporary artists. Make way for fine weather (though...)!

October 1, 2022 was therefore the last autumn edition of this not-to-be-missed cultural event. Following a vote organized by Anne Hidalgo, Parisians " overwhelmingly expressed their wish for Nuit Blanche to be held in June in future ", announced the City of Paris. June 3 therefore marked a turning point in the history of Nuit Blanche. Once again, the public turned out in force to discover and enjoy the hundreds of events organized throughout the capital and surrounding towns on Saturday evening.

What next? The date for this second spring edition has already been announced, so it's highly likely that, from now on, Nuit Blanche will always take place on the first Saturday in June.

In fact, in 2024, we're looking forward to seeing you on Saturday June 1. The cultural event not only celebrates France's overseas territories and territories, but also - as is currently the case - theOlympics. France's overseas territories are organizing their own celebrations and events to join in the Parisian festivities.

This edition is curated by contemporary art critic and researcher Claire Tancons. "On June 1, an extraordinary edition of Nuit Blanche will put the French overseas territories at the heart of the program! It will be the longest Nuit Blanche in history, under the artistic direction of Claire Tancons. It will start where the sun rises earliest in France, in New Caledonia, and end where the sun sets latest in France, in Polynesia. What a wonderful program ," says Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, in a press release.

In anticipation of the next edition, which will focus on artistic creation and sporting practices, relive Nuit Blanche 2023 in pictures.

Join us in May to discover the full program for the 22nd edition of Nuit Blanche.
