May 1st is Labor Day, the international day of workers, celebrated in many countries with parades and demonstrations, bringing together trade unions and citizens. In Paris, the procession is due to set off from Place de la République at around 2pm, via Bastille to Place de la Nation.
Due to this historic day of mobilization, and at the request of the Préfecture de Police, RATP has announced the closure of several metro stations this Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 11am. During this closure, trains will not stop and any connections will not be guaranteed.
