Finding love in the metro in Paris is not mission impossible. An application has established a ranking of the metro lines where singles have the best chance to meet love!

It's a ranking that is likely to arouse the curiosity of many singles, users of the metro in Paris. The famous dating app Happn has conducted a survey to draw up a list of Parisian places where love is most likely to strike.

As reported by Le Parisien, France Bleu and Actu Paris, the app was particularly interested in the famous metro. It's not the first thing you think of when you go down into the underground of Paris, but this means of public transport used every day by more than 4 million people in the Paris region can be an ideal place to meet someone in love.

And according to Happn, Cupid is more likely to strike on certain metro lines. So, according to this study, the hearts to take have more chance to meet the chosen one of an evening or a life on line 1. The famous yellow line, which runs between La Défense and Château de Vincennes, tops the list. Thus, on line 1, 31% of singles meet most of the people they like. Just behind them are lines 14 and 4 (18%), line 9 (17%) and line 13 (16%).

Conversely, some metro lines are less conducive to romantic encounters, namely lines 8, 10, 11, 3bis and 7bis.

For those who prefer to meet love on land, then the application has drawn up a list of districts where the hearts to be taken have the best chance of having a fling. In first place, we find the 16th arrondissement. It is here, in this very chic district of the West of Paris, that the singles confide in meeting the most people of their liking. Then come the 15th, 11th, 18th and 17th arrondissements.

What about the districts and arrondissements where you are likely to have less of a crush? At the top, we find theSaint-Louis island, then theIle de la Cité and finally the whole 4th arrondissement.

But then, how did Happn make this ranking? The application is simply based on the geolocation of some 781 Parisian subscribers, as well as on the searches made in the metro on the way to work or going out on the weekend. This explains why lines 1, 4 and 9, considered as the most frequented lines of the RATP network, are at the top of this ranking.
