The Bao Family delights the whole of Paris with its numerous addresses, including Gros Bao, Petit Bao, Bleu Bao and Bao Express, which opened last year. On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, on February 10, all these fine gourmet restaurants will be waiting to welcome you with open arms, with a packed program of Asian specialties that have us salivating.
To celebrate the start of the Year of the Wooden Dragon, a symbol of growth, creativity and renewal, the Bao Family is organizing a whole series of events both inside and outside its restaurants! On the program: food market, karaoke, cinema and even an exhibition!
Starting with a dinner on February 12, 2024 at the famous Chinatown Belleville, featuring a festive meal in the huge round-table dining room and karaoke. The program included a 10-course menu, turntables, lion dancing and all-night karaoke! From February 2 to 29, Bao Express moves to the basement of The Underpool bar to discover Thomas Sauvin'sphoto exhibition on the theme of 'Chinese Athletes', a tribute to the third Hercules bodybuilding competition held in Beijing in 1984.
Chinese cinema will also be in the spotlight at theHotel Paradiso, where Asian films will be shown in the guest rooms, and in the mk2 cinemas in Paris from February 5 to 12.
Last but not least, since the Chinese Lunar New Year is also an annual opportunity to feast, a food market is organized on rue au Maire, in the 3rd arrondissement, from February 9 to 11, 2024. During these 3 days, all the street's restaurateurs will be offering products for 2€, and the Bao Family will be offering a unique baozi for 2€.
As always, the Bao Family's 4 restaurants will be serving traditional specialties accompanied by a dragon dance at dinner on February 10.
