Calling all lovers of literature! The House of Victor Hugo in Paris invites you to discover the former home of one of France's greatest artists, on the occasion of the 21st Nuit des Musées, which takes place on Saturday May 17 2025. It's an opportunity to take a nocturnal tour of this 19th-century house, which immerses us in the life of the famous French writer, best known for penning some of the most famous works of French literature, including Les Misérables and Notre-Dame de Paris. From the Japanese-inspired living room to Victor Hugo's bedroom, we discover an astonishing, impressive home that reflects the whimsical spirit of its owner.

This 21st edition of Nuitdes Musées invites Parisians, Ile-de-France residents and visiting tourists to spend a night (or at least a long evening, until 11pm) discovering the museums participating in the event, free of charge. Guided tours, playful itineraries, happenings, shows, entertainment of all kinds and for everyone... Discover these cultural establishments in a whole new way.
