With the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games just a year away, a new Paralympic Day is taking place on October 8, 2023, to celebrate this unique event with free events and initiations, on Place de la République!

With the success of the Olympic Days, the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee is organizing its second Paralympic Day, on October 8, 2023, at Place de la République. With less than a year to go before the Paralympic Games, which kick off on August 28, 2024, it's high time to showcase and celebrate Paralympic athletes and their sports to the general public, during a festive, free day accessible to all!

It's an opportunity to meet around a hundred Paralympic athletes from the French team and try out their many disciplines, whether you're able-bodied or disabled. The day also aims to encourage disabled people to take up sport. On the program: concerts and shows, but above all sporting demonstrations and performances, coaching and tests in a dozen Paralympic sports.
