As the days go by, the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games draws ever closer. This event, which will take the form of a river parade and take place outside a stadium for the very first time, will be watched by over a billion television viewers around the world. But in the meantime, the Olympic flame continues its tour of the Paris region. Having already criss-crossed the four corners of France, most recently Paris, Val-d'Oise, Seine-et-Marne, Val-de-Marne and Yvelines, it will now head for Hauts-de-Seine on July 24.
This Wednesday, the Olympic flame arrives in the inner suburbs of Paris, and is scheduled to visit a number of towns in the 92 region between Sceaux and Nanterre. Between these two Hauts-de-Seine towns, the Olympic Flame is scheduled to make stops in Clamart, Sèvres, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Rueil-Malmaison and Suresnes.

Once again, torchbearers have been selected to carry the Olympic flame from town to town. So, who are they? Who are the torchbearers expected this Wednesday, July 24, 2024 for this relay in Hauts-de-Seine ?
The official website of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games has revealed the names of these famous torchbearers. This Wednesday, those planning to travel to Paris to catch a glimpse of the flame will be able to meet Adèle Castillon. The singer, who recently embarked on a solo career, will be performing alongside Gazo on July 25 in Seine-Saint-Denis. Also in the Hauts-de-Seine on July 24 will be Roxana Maracineanu, former silver medallist in the 200 m backstroke at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Chantal Jouanno, former Minister for Youth, Sports and the Voluntary Sector, and Nathalie Péchalat, a former ice skater who competed three times in the Winter Olympics.
Also announced are Pascal Gentil, former taekwondo player and two-time Olympic bronze medallist, and international basketball player Benjamin Sene.
In this département of Hauts-de-Seine, several events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place. These include the Stade Départemental Yves-du-Manoir, which will host field field hockey. The Paris La Défense Arena will host swimming, water polo and para-swimming events.
