A place for all young people aged 16 to 30, the Quartier Jeunes welcomes you from July 26 to September 7, 2024 to celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with a host of free workshops and events. A daily fixture in the 1st arrondissement, the Quartier Jeunes helps young people find solutions and answers in all areas of their lives, and transforms itself into a real QJ for those who can't attend the events, just a stone's throw from some of the Olympic venues.
It's a great way for the younger generation to take part in the Olympics at home, and for free! Of course, the program includes sports, but it's not all about sports! You can discover new vocations at the QJ, with radio station Mon Paris FM offering you the chance to try your hand at being a live sports commentator, just as if you were on TV! It's a great way to get to the heart of the action, but also to find a job for the new school year, thanks to job dating sessions dedicated to sports-related professions and jobs.
You can also immerse yourself in the world of urban culture by trying out board sports and urban trails, admiring breaking performances, street art or hip-hop battles, and attending concerts! To raise awareness of disability and handisport, introductory workshops in Paralympic disciplines are on offer, giving you the chance to try your hand at cecifoot or seated volleyball!
