Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: only three houses left to discover at the Parc des Nations

While 14 countries took over the Parc de La Villette during the Paris Olympic Games, only three will return to the Parc des Nations from August 29 to September 8, 2024 for the Paralympic Games. Let's find out!

This summer, many were thrilled by the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This autumn, it's time for the Paralympic Games, which once again have some surprises in store. As with the Olympic Games, the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games is announced outside a traditional stadium. On August 28, 2024, the legendary Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Élysées will be the setting for this celebration.

A number of fan zones will be back, to enable as many people as possible to follow the athletes in their respective disciplines. Such is the case of Club France. The huge fan zone returns to the Grande Halle de La Villette for these Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. More good news: this time, admission is free (reservation required)!

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games may be over, but the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games are starting soon, and Club France is opening its doors free of charge for the duration of the competition. [Read more]

However, according to Le Parisien, the giant screens on the La Villette lawn will be removed. However, Club France will continue to offer a rich and varied program, including a DJ set by Camélia Jordana on August 29 at 10:00 pm, Étienne de Crécy on August 31 at 10:30 pm, the Barbi(e)turix collective on September 3 at 10:30 pm and Amadou et Mariam on September 7 at 10:30 pm.

But France won't be the only country to return to the Parc de la Villette during these Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. In addition to France's Paralympic house, the Parc des Nations will also welcome the Netherlands with its TeamNL Huis house (paid admission online) to be discovered this time at the Cabaret Sauvage.

Colombia will also be in the spotlight, with La Casa Colombia (free admission) set up for the duration of the Paralympic Games at À La Folie.

The Parc des Nations hosted a total of 14 houses during the Paris Olympic Games, including Mongolia House and India House. When the Paralympic Games get underway on August 29, 2024, you'll be able to (re)discover these three pavilions at the Parc de la Villette.
