Paralympic Games: the House of Korea moves into the Marais Showrooms

After Korea House in the 7th arrondissement, the Maison de la Corée is moving to a new location for the Paralympic Games until September 6, 2024, in the heart of the Réaumur area of the Marais Showrooms, with many exciting events on the program.

For the return leg of the Games, the Maison de la Corée is moving to theEspace Réaumur in the Marais district of Paris, to bring the Paralympic Games to life alongside the Korean delegation. Immerse yourself in the culture of this Asian country and discover handisport over 400 m² until September 6, 2024, thanks to numerous immersive animations, including virtual reality with wheelchair races, Nordic ski touring, boccia and showdown.

You can get to this festive and sporty house from 101 rue Réaumur, from August 28 to September 6, 11am to 7pm. The Maison de la Corée welcomes all curious visitors, free of charge and without reservation.

The promotional area includes a souvenir store, featuring the mascots of the PyeongChang 2018 and Seoul 1988 Olympic Games, Bandabi and Gomduri. Also on the program are traditional Korean gamessuch as jegichagi, a paper shuttlecock to be held in the air with kicks, tuho (arrow) throwing and ddakji, a square paper battle to discover a whole side of Korean culture, as well as dress-up sessions in hanbok, a traditional Korean garment.

Few international houses survived after the Olympic Games, but you can discover Korea, the Netherlands, Colombia and the USA, right in the heart of Paris!
