After Phoenix, Air, Angèle, Zaho de Sagazan and Yseult for the Olympic Games closing ceremony, who will have the honor of rocking the Paris Paralympic Games closing ceremony? The names of these artists were revealed by our colleagues in Le Parisien, then quickly confirmed by the Games organizers.
Scheduled for this Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Stade de France, the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games will see the 4,400 athletes of these Games march past and stage the famous relay handover between the capital and Los Angeles. This will be followed by a major electro concert featuring some twenty French electro artists.
Among them? Jean-Michel Jarre, one of the genre's pioneers. And he's set to open the ball. Speaking to Le Parisien, the 76-year-old artist made no secret of his delight, confiding that he was " very happy " to be taking part in " this celebration of sport and French electro in all its diversity ".
Other figures from the"French Touch" will be taking part in the closing ceremony on September 8. These include the ever-popular Étienne de Crécy, the famous Martin Solveig and Cassius, author of the hits " I Love U So " and " Toop Toop ".
Kavinsky, who has already taken part in the Olympic closing ceremony, will also be there, as will Kungs, Chloé, The Avener, Ofenbach, Polo & Pan, Irène Drésel, Kittin, Breakbot and Irfane, Agoria, DJ Falcon, Boston Bun, Alan Braxe, Anetha, Tatyana Jane, not forgetting Pedro Winter aka Busy P.
Full line-up:
A total of 24 artists will take to the decks to light up the evening, which is due to end at around 11.30pm, according to Le Parisien.
