GroundParis is preparing a greatclosing this weekend. Opened by the Adidas brand to coincide with the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, GroundParis is about to close its doors after several weeks of offering Parisians sports and cultural activities under the Canopée des Halles.
While 3x3 basketball, skateboarding and street soccer were all on show, music was also a major attraction. During the Paris Olympic Games, GroundParis played host to Kalash Criminel, Ronisia and Djadja & Dinaz.
So, who's the latest artist to take over the venue? Who's been chosen for the GroundParisclosing? According to Le Parisien, it's none other than the famous rapper Ninho, who will perform live this Sunday, September 1, 2024, under the canopy of Les Halles.
The rapper from Essonne has already sold out the Paris Zénith, Accor Arena and Paris La Défense Arena. Ninho, who also opened Jefe Burger in the capital, is due to invade the Stade de France in 2025. This will be an opportunity for the artist to defend his fourth and latest album live. Baptised"NI", the album was released in 2023.

According to Le Parisien, his showcase this Sunday will last 30 minutes. And Ninho shouldn't be alone for this GroundParisclosing, as other guests are expected to join him. But their identities remain unknown for the moment. Le Parisien does, however, announce the presence of comedian Malik Bentalha.
No word yet on what time Ninho will perform, but the GroundParis website announces aclosing party from 3pm.
In the meantime, GroundParis is organizing introductory sessions in three Paralympic disciplines: wheelchair rugby on August 29, cecifoot on August 30 and wheelchair basketball on August 31. Access is free and open to all. However, registration is required, particularly for introductory courses in the sports disciplines.
