With 14 films to choose from, the UGC Danton cinema in Paris's 6th arrondissement offers the week's national releases. The UGC Danton cinema has 4 theaters where you can watch films in their original version or with subtitles. There are also films marked with UGC labels, such as UGC M, a label marking the films most appreciated by spectators or by the UGC group. And for 10 years now, the UGC group has been organizing the Viva l'Opéra operation , which consists of discovering opera and ballet works on the big screen, such as Les Noces de Figaro, Salome, etc... There are also a number of preview screenings, such as the current Radioactive, with the film crew in attendance.
All this in the heart of the Latin Quarter, one of the most emblematic areas of Paris and a veritable temple of independent cinema. In the same area, you'll find historic cinemas such as the Filmothèque du Quartier Latin, Le Champo and Reflet Médicis. Less than 100 metres from the UGC cinema is the Procope, the oldest bar in Paris, and a 4-minute walk takes you to the Japanese restaurant Kodawari Ramen.
