Murders and Other Complications follows the adventures ofImogene Scott (played by Violett Beane), a brilliant but troubled young woman who finds herself the prime suspect in a murder committed in a locked room. The case thickens against the sumptuous backdrop of a luxury liner, where wealthy passengers rub shoulders with a dedicated crew. To prove her innocence, Imogene has no choice but to team up with Rufus Cotesworth(Mandy Patinkin), a renowned detective she can't stand.
The series is the brainchild of Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who serve as writers, producers and art directors. Black Lamb's Marc Webb contributes his vision as pilot director and executive producer, alongside Mark Martin.
