On arrival in Newton Haven, the club of five meets up with Sam, Oliver's sister, for whom Gary and Steven still have a crush. As the team struggles to reconcile the past with the present, a series of reunions with old acquaintances and familiar sights suddenly make them realize that what's really at stake is the future, not just their own, but that of all mankind, and getting to "The End of the World" becomes the least of their worries...
