The world's best detective is back. No, we're not talking about Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot or Batman, but Detective Pikachu, who launches a new investigation on Nintendo Switch from October 6, 2023. Discover without delay a new trailer of the game, unveiled during the Nintendo Direct this September 14, 2023.
" Discover the origins of the great Detective Pikachu! Team up with a strong-willed, coffee-loving Pikachu, who also calls himself a great detective, to unravel the strange incidents happening in Ryme City. With the help of many other Pokémon, Tim Goodman and Pikachu, his voluble associate, will work together to solve a series of mysterious incidents in this cinematic adventure game. "
Remember, it was 2018: the game Detective Pikachu was released in France on Nintendo 3DS. We followed Tim Goodman, a young student in search of his father, forced to team up with a strange, chatty, coffee-drinking Pikachu... The fine team is back in this all-new sequel.
Put your investigative skills to work in Ryme City, a town hit by a series of strange incidents. Pokémons and humans must once again work together to preserve the city's peace and harmony. The two members of this unusual investigative duo work together during these investigations: Pikachu can question the city's Pokémon, while Tim talks to the humans. Find the clues, make the right conclusions, and use the skills of the other Pokémons: everyone's talents must be called upon to solve these mysteries.

Nintendo Switch test: 4 hours of gameplay
Here we are again, embarked on an investigation where humans and Pokémons must help each other, to get to the bottom of the truth. This new Detective Pikachu opus is fun and interesting for children... And a little less so for older players.
Controls, graphics, story and universe: Nintendo makes no mistakes. However, the puzzle mechanics quickly become repetitive, and the endings are easy to guess. The game becomes a little long-winded when you've found the culprit, but you still have to follow the storyline and keep investigating.
There are few surprises when it comes to solving mysteries either: any mistakes are of no consequence, and Pikachu quickly points us to the right answer. What's more, the cinematic scenes, which are a little too numerous, break the game's rhythm.
Despite this, the story follows well, the game remains fun, and Pokémon lovers can immerse themselves in an adventure different from the classic games. This title is sure to delight young players!
Are you up to the challenge? Find out when you play The Return of Detective Pikachu this autumn. The game is available now, so don't wait any longer!
