Pokémon TCG Pocket, the digital version of the popular Pokémon card game, continues to win over players with its collection and battle features. An update scheduled for January 2025 will finally introduce card trading, a feature eagerly awaited by the community. Here's the lowdown!

Pokémon TCG Pocket is THE mobile game of the moment! This success is based on simple gameplay that allows players to open boosters, create decks and take part in online battles. However, a key element of the original card game is sorely lacking in this digital adaptation: the ability totrade cards. An essential feature for completing a collection or strengthening a deck.

But gamers won't have to wait long for this... And with good reason: this feature is expected to be available in early 2025. The option, already visible in the "Community" menu with the words " coming soon ", will initially enable specific cards to be exchanged. The game's official account confirmed on X (ex-Twitter) that this update will initially concern a limited number of cards, with a selection that will be progressively expanded.

In addition to this novelty, new boosters should be introduced by the end of the year to complete the existing series. Despite the absence of a detailed roadmap, Creatures Inc. seems intent on meeting players' expectations by gradually enriching the experience. A moderate evolution, but one that could enable Pokémon TCG Pocket to build greater community loyalty by making up for its current shortcomings. All we can do now is wait for this feature to arrive.
