Koezio, the high-tech leisure park at Carré Sénart

Looking for something different? Looking for a change from laser quest sessions? How about an adventure game with the latest technology, RFID chip and multi-touch table? That's exactly what Koezio has to offer, a center that combines sporting and mental challenges to test team cohesion through five nerve-wracking trials.

Before starting the adventure, you'll need to reveal some information about yourself to validate your status as a Koezio agent, and find a name for your team - a team is made up of between two and five people. Then all you have to do is choose the theme of the questions you'll be asked during the tests, from simple G culture to questions about the Disney universe or even Baccalauréat questions, to mix adventure and reflection...

Once the formalities have been completed, it's time to embark on the adventure with your NFC bracelet, which will follow you throughout the whole adventure and allow you to enter the Koezio universe: before you set off, make sure you bring shorts or a light outfit to complement your wetsuit - unless you prefer to end up in your boxer shorts in the wetsuit! - And don't waste any time fitting in, as every second counts...

In the departure SAS, a briefing will introduce you to the mission and prepare you for the first test - the adventure comprises five tests and a final enigma, the difficulty of which will depend on the clues gathered during the tests - and then the adventure can begin!

For each of the five challenges (well, that's putting it mildly, as you'll have to face them all!), the NFC bracelet you'll be given locates you, briefs you on the course and, above all, tallies the points you've scored individually and collectively: team spirit is highly recommended if you want to finish Koezio victorious!

To give you an idea of the course and the efforts that will be required of you, here's a brief introduction to the five events:

• Keymaze: This first event is a life-size maze, in which each participant will be given two images to remember, and will have to find said images in the maze. How simple is that? When you know that a password has to be found using the various clues hidden behind the images in the maze, that each participant has gone off to find solo, and that a countdown timer is hustling you, you'll be a little less smart! Out of breath and with our brains in knots, we'll need to coordinate our efforts to decipher the secret code and win the first clue of the adventure.

• SpeedSpot: The second event combines speed and physical challenge in a large play area, containing several courses to overcome; in this vast play area, multiple NFC-enabled crossing points (you know, the one on your wristband) will allow you to accumulate points. The principle is very simple: collect as many points as possible to unlock precious clues for the end of the adventure!

• KnowZone: after sport... the effort, but intellectual (otherwise it'd be too good, wouldn't it?) Koezio's high-tech system puts you in front of a huge multi-touch surface on which you'll be offered several games, including a knowledge quiz where you'll have to quickly answer a panel of questions whose theme you've chosen beforehand. This is followed by an enigma game, where you'll have to reposition lasers to reach an objective, combining erudition and precision! In this event, each team member has his or her own set of questions, but that doesn't stop the fastest or the most erudite from adding to the knowledge of the injured.

• LazerCross: unique to Paris (Koezio hails from Lille), Lazer Cross is a tower you have to climb as quickly as possible, while avoiding James Bond-style laser beams. Do you think you'll make it? Every laser you hit will cost you points, but every minute you waste thinking will cost you the same, leaving you no choice but to contort your body!

• WingWay: this final test takes us 12m up, for a last-ditch effort: as you dodge obstacles clinging to life, symbols will appear as you pass. At the end, survivors will have to remember the various symbols discovered (in chronological order, otherwise it's no fun, especially as a patented lifeline ensures perfect safety!).

After all these setbacks comes... the final enigma. To decipher it, you'll have to rely on the clues offered to you for completing the tests, as well as on the points you've accumulated, which you can use to acquire additional clues!

Although Keozio is an intense activity that will strengthen your circle of family and friends, or allow you to let off steam with future friends, a few slight problems may arise due to the NFC recognition system, which is still being set up in Paris. It's an incredible experience, especially as a Hall of Fame is available online, allowing you to continue the Koezio experience at home by studying the highest scores of the moment, and thus perhaps rekindling the desire to frequent this special place, just to prove to yourself that you can surpass yourself and more... to find yourself!

Finally, a word of warning is in order for any small agents: Koezio is an intense activity, both physically and mentally, which is not suitable for the very young, but is more suited to teenagers and older children aged 10 and over.
