After several months of renovation work, the Adidas store has moved a few meters up the Champs-Elysées, right next to the Georges V metro station, at number 88! But this flagship store is different from the others: a huge three-storey boutique covering 2820 m2, the largest Adidas in Europe! A large sales area, but with a few surprises in store too, including a large customization corner to spice up shoes and jerseys!
The space is perfectly laid out, designed down to the smallest detail to simplify the customer journey, with a checkout on every floor. The brand's colorful collections blend with the raw, industrial architecture of the store, which has left the concrete exposed, in this new temple to sport on the world's most beautiful avenue.
Behind a huge bay window, we're greeted by a few models with open arms, celebrating the sport event of the moment, i.e.Euro 2024 jerseys currently and the Olympics from July.
Here, for a change from faceless mannequins, Adidas called on famous athletes, from Karabatic to Dembélé, via Sasha Zoya, Jude Bellingham and Lionel Messi, in life-size and 3D, giving the store an air of Musée Grévin.
While the first floor is devoted exclusively to soccer, the 13-metre-high staircase, the store's centrepiece, leads down to a huge basement showcasing the whole range of sports, including running, fitness and athletics! Here you can discover the shoes worn by Adidas team athletes during this summer's competition, as well as the brand's latest innovations and greatest successes.
Next to it, a"Run Lab" featuring two immersive treadmills, so you can test a pair of shoes in real-life conditions and envisage the best possible performance by analyzing your stride. The space is also a reminder of the community that has grown up around running, enabling Parisians to train and run together!
A real plus for this store is the workshop dedicated to customizing your jerseys or your favorite pairs, with flocking, patches, embroidery, engraving and painting, to make your products unique! Add colored laces and pins, and ask the talented artists on site to create a small work of art on your shoes, made-to-measure, starting at 30 euros.
On the second floor, with a panoramic view of the Champs-Elysées, the focus is less on sport, and more on lifestyle and high-end collections for everyday wear, such as Samba and Gazelle sneakers, T-shirts specially designed for the opening of the boutique around the capital, and capsules with artists. A real showroom feel, with superb sofas for trying on pairs in comfort!
At the beginning of June, several personalities who are ambassadors for the brand with the three stripes, including Zinédine Zidane, Léna Situations and Ninho, will take up residence in the store, to show it off to the public! And ZZ is very much involved in this new boutique, since the second floor features an intimate suite, co-created with this soccer legend, which retraces his career like a small museum, with shirts, his 1998 Ballon d'Or , and shoes, of course...
Visitors can access this unique space free of charge by registering via the Adidas loyalty program and reserving their 30-minute slot. Just the thing for Zizou fans! The Home of Sport is becoming a must for fashion and sports fans, on an avenue deeply rooted in the history of France's victories, where the public gather to celebrate together!
