This April 1, 2023, in Les Mureaux, the home of breakdance for many years, the best B-boys and B-girls from the Île-de-France, Normandy and Centre-Val de Loire regions will compete in inter-regional dance battles. Qualifying for the final of the French Breaking Championship, the competition will be open to the public, free of charge! An opportunity for the curious and urban dance fans to discover the best French athletes, before the discipline arrives at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
These inter-regional "battles stages" will enable the winners in each category (under 16s, over 16s, girls and boys) to reach the national final , to beheld in Reims at the end of April, to scorepoints in the ranking (national and international ranking) which will enable them to join theFrench Breaking team and acquire the status of top-level sportsman, with participation in the Olympic Games in their sights.
Join us from 6pm to 8:30pm to watch the semi-finals and finals of the four categories. In the future, classes and breaking events will be offered regularly in the region, but in the meantime, enjoy several exceptional breakdance and hip-hop dance shows, featuring local young talent, from 3pm on Friday March 30, at the COSEC in Les Mureaux.
