This time, Metropolitans 92 won't be playing at home in Levallois! We're off to the Roland-Garros courts, after the Paris tournament, to witness an incredible final between Monaco and the club of young prodigy Wembanyama. These playoffs, scheduled for Thursday June 15, 2023, sold out in a matter of minutes, as these are the last opportunities to see the Frenchman, who leaves for the NBA next season, play. But you can of course watch the game on TV, at 8.30pm on beIN Sports 1 and 2, and maybe find a seat for Saturday June 17, if a fourth game is needed!
Because these Betclic Elite finals - the French Basketball Championship - are played to the best of five games! The first match was won by Monaco in the Principality, and the second is being played this Monday. It was impossible for the Metropolitans to play in Levallois, as the venue was far too small, and as theAccor Arena was not available, the Philippe-Chatrier court was chosen to host the final, in a prestigious setting recently vacated by the best tennis players.
If Monaco wins this second match, the third will be decisive and could crown the team, in any case the occasion to see French players win at Roland-Garros. Depending on the result, a Match 4 will be held on Saturday June 17, again in the 16th arrondissement, with almost 15,000 fans in the stands!
