The capital continues to welcome a little more hip-hop culture, in the heart of the Canopée des Halles, in the cultural center La Place. On February 1 and 2, 2025, the BTM Experience returns for two days, giving you the chance to observe freestyle dance, a style even different from breaking that many discovered during the Paris Games. Here, the concept is to do freestyle dance steps to hip-hop music, unique to each individual, dating back to the 1980s.
Organized by the Beyond the Moves collective and directed by Nickel Yudat, this unique event brings together freestyle dance and choreography, offering dancers a genuine opportunity for expression, in a competition that celebrates creativity and community spirit. The program includes intense battles, intimate performances and authentic interaction with the public, who come to cheer on their favorite dancers or discover the discipline.
