Metal galore! On Wednesday November 13, 2019, Paris Salle Pleyel welcomes not one, not two but three rock bands to electrify the Parisian venue. On the menu? Halestorm, In This Moment and New Years Day!
HALESTORM
Arejay and Lzzy – who are siblings – created Halestorm in 1997 when they were respectively only 10 and 13 years old. For this first lineup, their father was the bassist before Josh Smith joins the band. After signing a contract with Atlantic Records in 2005, the band performs concerts and goes on tour with Papa Roach, Disturbed, Buckcherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Seether, Flyleaf… Recently, Halestorm has released “Vicious” marked by “Uncomfortable”:
IN THIS MOMENT
Everything starts when Maria Brink (voice) and Chris Howorth (guitar) create a metal band in 2005 in Los Angeles first called Dying Star. They recruit then Blake Bunzel (guitar), Josh Newell (bass) and Jeff Fabb (drums) who come to complete the band and recall it In This Moment. Then, some members leave while others arrive. Rob Nicholson – bassist for Ozzy Osbourne – becomes the manager. Very quickly, the band starts buzzing around and releases their first album “Beautiful Tragedy” in 2007. Supported by single “Prayers” and their eponymous track. Their secret? A skilled mix between Metalcore, Metal and Hard-Rock!
NEW YEARS DAY
New Years Day is an American heavy metal band created in 2005 coming from Anaheim, California. With singer Ashley Costello, the band has recently released a new record called “Unbreakable”.
