Two years after ‘All the Way to Rio’, Anna Ternheim is back with a new album called ‘A Space for Lost Time’ expected to be out this Fall 2019.
To honor the release of her album, Anna Ternheim will perform several concerts this fall including one Parisian date on Monday November 18, 2019 at Café de la Danse.
“This tour is inspired by the duo tour I did in the Fall of 2017 but takes the music a step further with a bigger band and a wider dynamic range,” Anna explains. "The voice will still be in focus. The new songs are the core of the show and old ones will get new arrangements. I don’t want to say too much about this upcoming record, but be prepared for music, that is like a windless black lake. I feel more joy than ever playing live and I believe this tour will be one of the best I’ve done. I want the audience to be transported, forget about space and time and for everyone to connect, if just for a brief moment.”
For the record, it’s in 2004 that Anna Ternheim has made her debuts with ‘Somebody Outside’. And the success was immediate since it has been named “golden disc” in barely no time.
After the release of her second opus, ‘Separation Road’, she’s been awarded Grammies (the Swedish Grammy Awards) as “best songwriter of the year” and “best female pop artist”.
Then, will follow ‘Leaving on a Monday’ in 2008, ‘The Night Visitor’ in 2011, ‘For The Young’ in 2015 and ‘All the Way to Rio’ two years later.
