Come and relive live Texas’ famous album “Southside”. To proudly celebrate the 30-year anniversary of their first opus, the Scottish band led by Sharleen Spiteri has decided to go meet fans again and hit the French roads in the spring 2022. In Paris, meet on Friday April 15, 2022 at Zénith de Paris La Villette. For the record, the show was initially planned on December 6, 2020 then postponed to October 6, 2021, because of the coronavirus crisis. Texas also expect to perform shows in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Narbonne, Nantes, Lille, Aix-en-Provence, Chambéry, Dijon, Orléans and Metz.
To our youngest readers, we remind you that “Southside” was released in March 1989. Texas’ first studio album, “Southside” marks the spirits with hits such as “I Don’t Want a Lover”, “Everyday Now” or even “Prayer for You”. Proof of its success, the album has been gold certified in France and two times gold certified the year after its release and platinum in 1990.
On April 15, 2022, at La Villette Zénith, Sharleen Spiteri and co. will perform “Southside” as well as some of their famous hits such as “Say what you want”, “Summer Son”, or more recently “The Conversation”. So, ready to travel back in time with friends and sing Texas’ successes live out loud?
