As the concert scene in Paris gears up once again for the coming months, artists continue to release new albums to the delight of music fans. From rock to French variety to metal... we invite you to discover 15 artists and groups who will be making a splash this autumn 2023 thanks to their new opus.
Two years after the release of "Detroit Stories", Alice Cooper returns with the album"Road", in stores from August 25. Produced by Bob Ezrin, the album features special guests such as Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Keith Nelson (Buckcherry) and Wayne Kramer (MC5), whileAlice Cooper reunites with his faithful bandmates: Ryan Roxie (guitar), Chuck Garric (bass), Tommy Henrikson (guitar), Glen Sobel (drums), and Nita Strauss (guitar).
Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album "Phoenix" in 2021, which won 4 Juno Awards, Canadian artist Charlotte Cardin is back with a second album,"99 Nights". It includes the single " Confetti ", as well as the track " Jim Carrey ", which recently caused quite a stir. If you haven't heard of Charlotte Cardin yet, then take advantage of the release of"99 Nights" to discover the enchanting world of this Quebec singer-songwriter.
22 years after"2", Florent Pagny is back with an album entitled"2bis". On it, the artist covers his own hits as well as a number of French chanson standards. Highlights include " N'importe quoi" sung with Patrick Bruel, the hit " Si tu veux m'essayer " duet with Zazie, the single " Savoir aimer " in unison with Pascal Obispo, " Et maintenant " with Lara Fabian and " Comme d'habitude " with M.Pokora. A total of 20 duets are featured on this new opus.
It took 10 long years for the famous Icelandic band to come up with a new album.ÁTTA" (eight in Icelandic), Sigur Rós ' new 8th studio album, takes us back to the intoxicating atmosphere of the band's first opuses. In 10 tracks, we're immersed in the singular universe of Jónsi, Georg Holm and Kjartan Sveinsson (who returns after leaving the band in 2012). With tracks sometimes lasting more than 7 minutes - such as the incredible " Blóðberg " - we find all the genius and talent of Sigur Rós, who presented this new album at the Philharmonie de Paris in early July during a memorable and deeply moving set.
Missed them? They're back! The Pretenders, the celebrated Anglo-American rock band led by Chrissie Hynde, announce the release of a new, 14th studio album. Called"Relentless", the album was written by Chrissie Hynde and the band's guitarist James Walbourne, and recorded in London. Produced by David Wrench, it takes us back to the sound of the band's 80s/90s heyday. New songs that The Pretenders will soon be defending live in Paris, at two intimate (and sold-out) concerts scheduled at La Maroquinerie in September.
After a series of concerts this summer and opening for Muse at the Stade de France, Royal Blood are back with a new 4th album. Available from September 1, this new album follows on from "Typhoons", released in 2021. With"Back To The Water", Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher offer us an entirely self-produced opus, recorded in their own studio in Brighton whenever inspiration struck. Now all that remains to be seen is when the British rock band will be playing new concerts in Paris!

Pascal Obispo also makes his comeback this autumn with the release of his 14th album of previously unreleased songs. Recorded in his Paris studios,"Le beau qui pleut" was produced by new wave jazzmen Fred Nardin and Max Pinto. The artist also surrounded himself with talented musicians such as Manu Katché, Laurent Vernerey and Gautier Capuçon. The album includes the single " J'étais pas fait pour le bonheur ", performed as a duet with the Franco-Italian singer Giordana Angi. On the concert front, Pascal Obispo will be hitting the road again in France this autumn. In the Paris region, the artist is due to perform at La Seine Musicale.
Corey Tayor, the mythical leader of Slipknot, once again breaks away from his famous metal band to release a new solo opus. Called"CMF2", the album follows on from "CMFT", released in 2020. Comprising 13 new tracks, this opus reveals the full extent of the talent of this American artist, who will be in Paris this autumn!

Five years after their last opus, Thirty Second to Mars - made up of Jared and Shannon Leto - are releasing a new album entitled"It's The End Of The World, But It's A Beautiful Day". From the hundreds of songs written since the release of their previous album, "America", the band have selected several. After his incredible spring show at theAccor Arena in Paris, Roger Waters is back in the news with"The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux", an album celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side Of The Moon". Completely re-recorded by the British artist,"The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux" features new versions of the hits " Breathe ", " Time ", " Money ", " Us and Them " and " Eclipse ". " When we recorded the stripped-down Lockdown Sessions songs, the 50th anniversary of the release of "The Dark Side Of The Moon" was looming on the horizon. It occurred to me that 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' might well be a suitable candidate for a similar reworking, partly as a tribute to the original work, but also to re-address the political and emotional message of the album as a whole," said Roger Waters about the record.
