For over 20 years now, Rock en Seine has been delighting us every autumn! This year, the not-to-be-missed music festival returns to its usual site in the Hauts-de-Seine department, the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud.

To mark this new edition, Rock en Seine is offering five consecutive days of concerts, compared with four last year. Join us on Wednesday, August 21, Thursday, August 22, Friday, August 23, Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2024 , for a jam-packed line-up of live music from leading national and international artists.

Rock en Seine 2024: the complete program and concert times
After a great edition in 2023, the Rock en Seine festival is back for five days of not-to-be-missed festivities on Wednesday 21, Thursday 22, Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August 2024 at the Domaine national du Parc de Saint-Cloud. On the program? Lana Del Rey for a concert-event, the talented PJ Harvey, the duo The Kills and the Italians from Måneskin, as well as The Offspring, Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, The Hives, Gossip, Kasabian, 2manydjs, Ghinzu, Thomas de Pourquery... How do I get to Rock en Seine by public transport?

The Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, which is to host the Rock en Seine festival, is very well served by public transport. Metro, bus or streetcar, the choice is yours! Alternatively, take your bike or scooter.

What time does the festival site open?

If you're planning to get the ball rolling on Wednesday, the festival is scheduled to open on August 21 at 4:00 pm. For the rest, doors open at 3.30pm on Thursday August 22, at 2.30pm on Friday August 23 and Saturday August 24, and at 1pm on Sunday August 25.

Please note that concerts end before the subway and tramway close, i.e. around 12:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

What objects are prohibited or authorized on the site?

As with all festivals, certain items are prohibited on site (even at the locker).

Cases and bags larger than 24 liters (24 x 45cm maximum)
Recorders, cameras, professional cameras
Electronic devices, speakers, computers, headphones...
Bicycle batteries
Selfie poles
Glass bottles, cans, all large bottles (over 50 cl)
Aerosols, perfume bottles, etc.
Gas bottles and stoves
Smoke, explosive or flammable liquids (gasoline, etc.)
Weapons, sharp, blunt or potentially dangerous objects
Drugs
Alcohol
Drone
Large flags, large pointed umbrellas, laser pointers and other objects that could be dangerous to spectators
Noisy objects: sirens, megaphones, etc.
Large quantities of food, drink and cigarettes
Motorcycle helmets

However, other objects are allowed on the festival site:

Small backpacks up to 24 liters (24 X 45 cm), Eastpack type
Water bottles under 50 cl
Empty water bottles (with the exception of glass bottles) with contents of less than 50cl
Small compact umbrellas
Small folding stools/chairs (maximum 53 x 41 x 3 cm)
Small cell phone battery

Food Band

This year, Rock en Seine is pulling out all the stops with the arrival of the Food Band. "This new culinary project highlights the camaraderie and, above all, the talent of six renowned chefs who, together, will transform the festival's gastronomic experience," explains Rock en Seine on its website.

For the occasion, Rock en Seine invites Valentin Raffali (Top Chef 2024), Marine Gora, Louise Bourrat (Top Chef 2022 winner), Jordan Moilim, Guillaume Sanchez (starred chef at Neso restaurant) and Jorick Dorignac (Top Chef 2024 winner). Each of them will propose a signature dish and dessert,"inspired by an emblematic artist" of this new edition.

This year, Rock en Seine is inviting 6 renowned young chefs to delight festival-goers' taste buds from Wednesday August 21 to Sunday August 25, 2024. Gathered in the "Food Band" gourmet project, these culinary specialists will each propose a signature dish and dessert imagined for the occasion and inspired by an artist of this new edition. Rock en Seine 2024: Cultural Olympiad label

Did you know? Rock en Seine has been awarded the Cultural Olympiad label by the organizing teams of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a result, the festival's programming is being adapted. Several events linked in particular to the Paralympic Games have been announced, such as the Gossip concert. Scheduled for Thursday August 22, it will be translated in its entirety into LSF (Langue des Signes Française) by the collective 10 doigts en cavale. For his part, musician Thomas de Pourquery will welcome on stage, for a few songs, an inclusive choir made up of singers from the Radio France Choir and five amateur choirs made up of people with disabilities.

Finally, the Paralympic flame will pass through the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud on Sunday August 25, while a torch relay will take place between a Paralympic athlete and an artist from the Rock en Seine entourage. The event will take place on the Grande Scène, between the PJ Harvey and LCD Soundsystem concerts.

And let's not forget Rock en Seine for kids, which every year delights little ones eager to enjoy the entertainment, while older children are thrilled by the concerts!
