Having charmed audiences at L'Entrepôt in the summer of 2022 for the first edition of Icelandic Week, and then bewitched audiences at La Cigale a few months later, Ásgeir announces his return to Paris this autumn. This time, the Nordic artist plans to take over the Trabendo venue for a single concert scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023. The show is part of the singer and musician's European tour, which includes no fewer than 6 shows in France. After Nantes, Rouen and Caen, and before Lille and Lyon, Ásgeir will once again arrive in the City of Light.
This is an opportunity for the Icelandic singer-songwriter to perform several of his beautiful ballads, including those taken from his latest opus,"Time on my hands", released in 2022. Since then, the Nordic composer and performer, creator of a unique and bewitching folk-pop, has unveiled a Lo-Fi version of this album. For this new acoustic version, Ásgeir opted for authenticity by recording via a four-track tape recorder, and chose to record in collaboration with Guðmundur Kristinn Jónsson at Studio Hljóðrit in Iceland.
