On the initiative of rap media Yard and Booska-P, Les Flammes was launched for the first time in 2023. Given its success, the famous rap, R'n'B and Nouvelle Pop awards ceremony is making a comeback this spring. Mark your calendars: this new, second edition of the Les Flammes ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
With 24 awards announced this year, Les Flammes aims to shine the spotlight on all strata of new urban music. So, who are the competing artists for this second edition? Gazo, Aya Nakamura, Tiakola, Hamza... a host of French and French-speaking rap talents are in the running this year.
This year, Les Flammes invited Internet users over the age of 15 to vote for their favorite artists and projects. 24 categories are being celebrated in this second edition, and 14 of them were open to public voting until March 25.
