This Friday, February 9, 2024, the Seine Musicale hosted the 39th edition of the Victoires de la Musique. The event was presided over by Zazie, and presented by Léa Salamé and Cyril Féraud live from the Hauts-de-Seine.
As every year, the ceremony featured a number of live performances, including that of Zazie, who opened the festivities, as well as those ofEtienne Daho, Vianney with the Maîtrise de Radio France, Jain, Gazo and Pierre de Maere.
On the Seine Musicale stage, the performance of young artist Zaho de Sagazan also seduced the public's ears. Yamê, Clara Ysé, Meryl and Aime Simone also had some fine moments on stage. And let's not forget Louane's fine performance, alone on stage to interpret three of her songs, and Julien Granel's dynamic, colorful set.
A number of tributes were also paid on Friday evening, including loud applause for Jane Birkin, who died on July 16, 2023, Raphaël 's rendition of Jean-Louis Murat 's"Si je devais manquer de toi", and Sandrine Bonnaire's presentation of the Victoire d'honneur to Bernard Lavilliers. For the occasion, Catherine Ringer, Jeanne Cherhal, Olivia Ruiz, Terrenoire and Faada Freddy took to the stage to perform 5 of the singer's best-known songs.
In terms of nominations, there were a number of favorites, such as Zaho de Sagazan, nominated in 5 categories, and Vianney and Yamê.

But who were the star performers at the Victoires de la Musique 2024 ? Which singer won the coveted Female Artist of the Year award? What was the best concert of the year? This year, Zaho de Sagazan is undoubtedly the artist of the 39th Victoires de la Musique! On Friday evening, the singer walked away with 4 Victoires:"album of the year","stage revelation of the year","female revelation of the year" and"original song of the year" for " La symphonie des éclairs ", the only category put to the public vote. With these 4 Victoires, Zaho de Sagazan was the big winner of the evening, scooping the most awards on Friday night!

As for the rest of the winners, there was a surprise in the Male Artist of the Year category, as Vianney, already named Performer of the Year in 2016, and Drill star Gazo tied in the voting and each walked away with a Victoire. Meanwhile, Aya Nakamura - who was absent from the ceremony - was crowned Female Artist of the Year.
