Their names are Ron and Russell Mael. They are brothers and founded the band Sparks in 1968. 55 years later, the two brothers continue their musical adventure with tours that are still very popular and highly anticipated. This summer, Sparks will be touring Europe again with a series of 14 dates only. In France, fans of the pop music band will be at the Grand Rex in Paris for a unique concert not to be missed on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
In addition to the French capital, Sparks also plans to play in Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Berlin and Brussels. Don't miss the opening of the ticket office on Friday, February 3rd at 10am.
This new tour of the Sparks on the Old Continent is the opportunity for the Americans, originally from Los Angeles, to present their next opus live. Called"The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte", it is due to be released on May 26th 2023 and promises some nice sound nuggets.
But the pop music group, awarded the César for Best Original Score for the film"Annette" by Leos Carax, will certainly not be satisfied with playing their most recent songs. In the saddle for more than 50 years, the Sparks duo is likely to come back on several of its hits, including the hit " This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us " released in 1974 on the album"Kimono My House".
So, are you ready to live a great musical moment with the duo Sparks this summer in Paris? See you at the Grand Rex on June 13, 2023 and don't miss the opening of the ticket office on February 3!
