He was due to perform there on June 18, 2023. However, due to poor weather forecasts, Sting's concert in the magnificent park of the Château de Fontainebleau was cancelled. Fans of the former member of The Police can rejoice, as the British artist has announced his return to Seine-et-Marne on Tuesday June 25, 2024, again as part of the FBLO Festival.

Attention all Sting fans! The British singer, ex-leader of The Police, announces his return to France with an exceptional open-air concert scheduled in Seine-et-Marne for the FBLO Festival. Sting awaits his fans on Tuesday June 25, 2024 in the unique setting of the Château de Fontainebleau park. The British artist was due to take over this site in the summer of 2023. Unfortunately, however, the concert had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Needless to say, this exclusive musical event is sure to draw a large crowd. So, if you'd like to see Sting on June 25, 2024 in the grounds of the Château de Fontainebleau, don't miss the ticket office opening on December 13 at 10 a.m.

Like Patti Smith, Sting makes no secret of his love for France. In 2020, the artist revealed that he owned a house north of Paris, in Senlis in the Oise region. His concerts in France are therefore not uncommon. In recent years, Sting has invaded theAccor Arena in Paris three times (in 2019, 2022 and 2023), as well as the Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt in 2019, and the Château de Chambord in June 2022.

In the summer of 2024, Sting will take over another of France's historic sites, the park of the Château de Fontainebleau. You may not know it, but the Château de Fontainebleau was once the secondary residence of the kings of France. Today, it is a listed historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
