Feu Chatterton in concert at the Louvre ? This is the musical and original event not to be missed this spring in Paris. The famous Parisian museum is launching a new event that is likely to be talked about.
While the Louvre has been the most visited museum in the world for several years, for almost two hundred years it has been the home of many living artists. Some may not know it, but some three hundred artists - painters, sculptors, musicians... - have had the good fortune to live and create in the Louvre. In 2023, the Musée du Louvre wishes to bring this history to life by launching a new event based on a creative residency.
For this premiere, Feu! Chatterton has been invited to take over the museum's halls, the Michel Laclotte Auditorium, and the studio that will be set up for them during a two-month residency from March 31 to May 25, 2023.
Composed of Arthur Teboul, Clément Doumic, Sébastien Wolf, Antoine Wilson and Raphaël de Pressigny, the group quickly established itself on the new French rock scene in 2015 with the opus"Ici le Jour (a enseveli tout)". Since then, the Parisian quintet has released several other albums, and has been playing concerts all over France.
This spring, they will be at the Louvre for an exclusive and unpublished event. So what can we expect during this exceptional residency of Feu Chatterton at the Louvre Museum? The public will be able to enjoy nomadic concerts during the Friday nights, but also a master class to discover in the Michel Laclotte Auditorium, and a residency exit with a series of three concerts.
