This spring, Cercle strikes a new blow by launching"One Way", an experience that is both artistic and musical and offered in 20 editions.
The first one is scheduled on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Nexus in Pantin. And attention, for the experience to be successful, no photo or video of the event will be taken by Circle. Other information, and not the least , cell phones will be forbidden, and to slip into the famous Yondr pockets provided on the spot and which we start to be used to.
But then, what exactly should we expect during this first edition of"One Way"? During the evening, the invited artist - whose name will not be revealed beforehand - is placed in a one-way mirror cube and plunged in the dark. Thus, the public cannot see the artist in question, and will know his identity only at the quasi end of the show.
Because, this game of light and shadow will be reversed at the end of the set. Thus, when the cube will be strongly lit from the inside, the public will finally be able to discover the face of the DJ, and this one will not be able to see the spectators. " It is the desire to reconnect with the present moment and the music that led to the conceptualization of these 20 events," explains Circle in a statement.
To sublimate this artistic installation and create a unique scenographic identity for"One Way", Cercle announces that it has partnered with Minuit Une.
