Mylène Farmer at the Stade de France: how to prepare for your visit by public transport

After long months of anticipation, Mylène Farmer finally arrives at the Stade de France with three Paris concerts to experience on Friday September 27 and Saturday September 28 and then on Tuesday October 1, 2024, as part of her "Nevermore" tour. If you're planning to reach the Seine-Saint-Denis venue by public transport, here are a few practical tips to help you avoid any queues around the stadium and get as close as possible to your front door.

After concerts in Lille, Nantes and Lyon in 2023, Mylène Farmer 's fans in the Paris region will be thrilled to the rhythm of the French star's countless hits! The singer is due to give the final concerts of her"Nevermore" tour. Originally scheduled for summer 2023, these concerts were postponed to 2024 due to the riots in the Paris region following the death of young Nahel. For this grand finale, the performer of"Libertine" will take over the Stade de France three times, on Friday September 27 and Saturday September 28 , and then on Tuesday October 1, 2024.

But before you can dance and sing along to the artist's legendary songs, and meet Mylène Farmer in the flesh on stage, you'll have to get to the Stade de France. And let's face it, it's going to be a complicated mission, given the crowds expected around the stadium.

As the RATP reminds us, " the Stade de France can be reached by various means of public transport ", including RER lines B and D, metro lines 12 and 13, or T1 and T2.

So if you're planning to come by public transport, here are a few practical tips to help you avoid any queues around the stadium and get as close as possible to your entrance gate. After all, itineraries vary according to the stadium entrance indicated on your ticket.

Here are the public transport options you should use to get to and from the stadium, depending on your entrance gate.

How to get to the Stade de France

Access to gates A, B, C, D, E and H (east of the stadium): take RER B towards " Mitry-Claye " and get off at " La Plaine - Stade de France " station, or take metro line 12 towards " Mairie d'Aubervilliers " and get off at " Front populaire " station. About 10 minutes' walk from RER station B and 25 minutes' walk from metro line 12.
Access to gates J, K, L, N, R and S (north of the stadium): take metro line 13 towards " Saint-Denis Université " and get off at " Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris " station. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the Stadium gates.
Access to gates T, U, X, Y and Z (south-west of the Stadium): take RER line D towards " Creil " and get off at " Stade de France - Saint-Denis " station, then walk for around 10 minutes from the station to the Stadium gates.

To leave the Stade and join Paris

From gates A, B, C, D, E, H X, Y and Z (east of the Stadium): take metro line 12 or RER B.
From gates J, K, L, N, R, S, T and U (north of the Stadium): take metro line 13, direction " Châtillon Montrouge ".
From gates T, U, X, Y and Z (south-west of the Stadium): take RER line D, direction " Melun / Malesherbes ".

Please note that if you choose to return on the RER D, traffic is interrupted between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon from Monday to Friday from 11:30pm. Trains are also interrupted between Gare de Lyon and Melun, and between Gare de Lyon and Corbeil-Essonnes, Monday to Friday from 10:45 pm.

RATP recommends that you take metro line 12 and Transilien line H (which serves Saint-Denis and enables you to catch the RER D) to get to the Stade de France; these two routes are generally less busy.
