Paris 2024: the program for the event concert broadcast on France 2 this Tuesday

Gims at the top of the Eiffel Tower with Matthias Dandois, 9-time BMX world champion, as well as the famous pianist Lang Lang live at the Joséphine-Baker swimming pool for a synchronized swimming duet, and circus artist Gaëtan Lévèque at the Château de Versailles for a vertiginous trampoline sequence... A year ahead of the eagerly-awaited Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, France Télévisions has come up with an exceptional concert featuring music and sport. Simply called " Paris 2024, le concert-événement " , this program is to be followed this Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 9:10pm on France 2 and promises viewers a fine spectacle, both aural and visual.

"For one night only, the show will bring together artists and athletes in exceptional live performances and tableaux. They will all surpass themselves through musical performances, to go ever higher, stronger, further and celebrate the fundamental values of Olympism! " explains France Télévisions in a press release.

Organized as a prelude to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and as part of the " Dans un an, les jeux " program, this concert event presented by France 2 will take viewers to the forecourt of Paris City Hall, as well as to the future emblematic sites of Paris 2024 (the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, the Trocadéro, the Seine...).

So, which artists and athletes are expected to take part in this special show? On the music side, " Paris 2024, le concert-événement " announces the participation of Naps, Aime Simoine, Vitaa, Patrick Bruel, Soolking, Ibrahim Maalouf, as well as Ofenbach, Gims, Lang Lang and Chris (Christine and the Queens).

As for the athletes, look out for 400 m hurdler Stéphane Diagana, boxer Brahim Asloum, skateboarder Charlotte Hym, fencer Ysaora Thibus and handballer Alisson Pinault.
