Rock en Seine 2024: 5 bands not to be missed this Saturday, August 24

Massive Attack - Main Stage - 9:35pm

Massive Attack 's trip-hop returns to Rock en Seine this summer! And the British band, founded in Bristol in 1988, is set to enchant us on August 24, having already headlined the first edition of the Parisian festival in 2003.

This new set by 3D (Robert Del Naja) and Daddy G (Grant Marshall) at Rock en Seine will be their 4th appearance. There's no doubt that Massive Attack will once again be putting on an epic show, where image is as important as sound. So get ready for a truly visual and sonic experience at Rock en Seine on August 24, 2024!

The Offspring - Main Stage - 7:25pm

" Self Esteem ", " Come out and play ", " The Kids Aren't Alright ", " Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) " or " Original Prankster "... All these hits are by The Offspring! The Offspring, a seminal band on the American punk rock scene, left their mark on an entire generation with hits we still love to hum. On August 24, Dexter Holland, Noodles and others will take over Rock en Seine's Grande Scène, taking us back in time to relive our best years!

The Kills - Main Stage - 5:25pm

After an intimate concert at La Gaîté Lyrique for the Arte Concert Festival and a show at the Olympia, The Kills return to Paris at the end of August for the latest edition of Rock en Seine. Formed by Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, the famous American-British indie rock duo are sure to get festival-goers moving with their many hits. These include, of course, " U.R.A. Fever ", " Black Balloon " and " Doing It to Death ".

But The Kills won't be shying away from performing several tracks from"God Games". Released on October 27, 2023, this sixth studio opus includes tracks such as " Wasterpiece ", " 103 ", " LA Hex " and " New York ".

Glass Beams - Cascade Stage - 4:40pm

Glass Beams, do you know them? An Australian musical group formed by Rajan Silva in 2020, Glass Beams released their debut EP"Mirage" a year later. Their style? A tasty mix of krautrock, funk and jazz loops, which is largely instrumental and psychedelic. The result? The mysterious trio captivates us and takes us to faraway lands.

On stage, the members of Glass Beams hide their faces under a mask of pearls. If you haven't heard of them yet, come and discover them on the Cascade Stage on August 24.

Sleater-Kinney - Main Stage - 4:00 p.m.

Here's an all-girl band that's influenced more than one! Sleater-Kinney was born in 1994 in the famous town of Olympia, Washington, USA. Formed by Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein, this American riot grrrl band arrives at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud on August 24 for a good dose of rock. This will be an opportunity to (re)discover some of their most legendary songs, such as " Jumpers ", as well as new sound nuggets from their album,"Little Rope", released last January.

Of course, this list is by no means exhaustive, and there are plenty of other bands not to be missed at Rock en Seine on August 24. What are you planning to see and hear this Saturday at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud?
